Amigos! We are taking you to Spain… Passionate, sophisticated and devoted to living the good life, Spain is a country more diverse than you ever imagined. The various landscapes stir the soul, the food and wine are national obsessions, with breathtaking art and architecture to take in.

There’s a reason ‘fiesta’ is one of the best-known words in the Spanish language – life itself is a fiesta here and everyone is invited. Join Cultural Adventure Trips on this most amazing journey.

Cultural Adventure Trips will first take you to Barcelona, the capital city of the autonomous community of Catalonia in the Kingdom of Spain. Just imagine walking in this enchanting seaside city with boundless culture. Can you see yourself discovering the towering temple columns, ancient city walls and subterranean stone corridors, or taking a stroll through shadowy lanes of the Gothic quarter, and soaring 14th century cathedrals?

In other parts of town bloom the sculptural masterpieces of Modernism, a mix of ingenious and whimsical creations by Gaudi and his Catalan architectural contemporaries. Not only will you learn the history and architecture of this fascinating city, you will discover its culture by learning how to cook tapas, enjoying a tour of the different Spanish regions, plunge into the passionate world of flamenco while learning the basic flamenco dance moves, attend one of the most entertaining shows in the city, and so much more.

After discovering Barcelona, we will take you to one of the most amazing places ever; a small village in the Spanish Pyrenees, in a majestic corner of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park. There, in a high and open valley surrounded by beautiful mountains, lies a tiny village and an amazing private house where you will stay. In this surpassing setting, we will have you discover yoga as an art of living and teach you simple tools that can help you live in harmony with nature wherever you are. Enjoy this week with your loved ones through yoga, hikes, music, dance, acrobatics, sports, creative activities and social learning experiences. There, you will absolutely reconnect to the rhythms of nature and enjoy the luxury of simplicity in this hidden paradise.

In Barcelona

Traditional Spanish cuisine is down-to-earth, uncomplicated food that is based on locally grown and regional ingredients. Many dishes are prepared today using the same cooking methods and ingredients as they were two or three hundred years ago. Like the Romans, the Arabs, who conquered and lived in Spain for 800 years made fabulous contributions to Spanish cuisine, and their influence is seen in many recipes. Other dishes sprang up from European and American influences, and were adapted to the Spanish taste. One thing is for sure, food in Spain is fresh, abundant, and full of flavor, and the Spanish love their food dearly. You will be able to experience it all in the various restaurants we will visit in Barcelona.
